Higher Qualification Specialists Preparation by Way of Post-graduate Study

Higher qualification specialists’ preparation by way of post-graduate study with and without isolation from industry in accordance with the scientific specialties includes:

  • 01.04.02 – Theoretical Physics;

  • 05.03.01 – Mechanical Operation Processes, Machines and Tools;

  • 05.05.17 – Hydraulic Machines and Hydropneumatic Units;

Those persons who possess higher education and specialist’s or master’s qualification are admitted to the post-graduate study on the contest basis. Those persons who have for the time of entering no less than two years of their working doctor experience after graduating from the internship which medical qualification corresponds to the scientific post-graduate studies’ specialty or have the qualification of Master of Medicine are admitted to the clinical chairs.

The post-graduate studies’ term with isolation from industry comes to three years, without isolation – four years

The intrants to the post-graduate study file the following documents addressed to the Head of the Univesity:

1. an application;
2. a staff accounting special paper;
3. a list of the published scientific works and inventions.Those intrants who don’t have their published scientific works and inventions give the scientific reports in accordance with their chosen specialty;
4. a medical reference about the state of health in a № 286-у form ;
5. a diploma’s copy concerning the graduating from the higher educational institution with a copy of the diploma’s supplement;
6. a document concerning the candidate examinations’ passing.

Passport and higher education diploma are given personally by the intrants.

The documents of intrants are admitted from 27 August till 7 September.

The preparation in the post-graduate study is carried out:

1. by way of :
   • Ukrainian state budget funds – in accordance with the national order for the work in the state sector of the national economy;
   • Juridical and physical persons’ funds – on the contract conditions – for the work in the state and private sectors of the national economy;
2. of foreigners and persons without citizenship taking into account:
   • international Ukrainian agreements;
   • general national programs;
   • agreements concluded between the higher educational institutions, academic establishments with juridical and physical persons.

The obligations of the University and a post-graduate whose preparation is carried out in accordance with the state order are defined by the typical agreement.

In a case of getting equal marks such intrants have a primary right by the enrollment to the post-graduate study who are recommended for the post-graduate study entering by the academic council of the higher educational institution (faculty), scientific establishment who successfully got the master’s degree and passed all or some of the candidate exams.

An access to the entrance exams passing to the post-graduate study is given by the Entrance Examination Committee in accordance with the results of the interview, examining the report and given scientific works taking into account the written conclusion of the future scientific supervisor.

The intrants pass entrance examinations in their specialty, philosophy and foreign language.
