Material Support for the Fundamental Training of Students

The College possesses:

• training building - 4 storeys, 6172 m² total square;
• laboratory building - 2 storeys, 2174 m² total square;
• hostel - 4 storeys, 4641 m² total square, admits 240 students;
• field workshops of 2263 m² total square.

The training building includes:

• assembly hall for 400 seats;
• gymnasium of 288 m² total square;
• practice hall of 288 m² total square;
• library with a reading-room of 210 m² total square and 80000 copies of the library stock;
• dining-hall for 75 seats;
• 4 lecture-rooms.

According to the syllabus, the College possesses 32 rooms, 18 laboratories, 6 computer rooms with 1001 up-to-date machines (Celeron 2.0, Celeron 2.4, Рentium 4/2.4) connected in a net, with Internet access, 2 rooms with audio-visual aids, one lecture-room with audio-visual aids and multimedia projector.

Each classroom is furnished with a scanner and printing machine, two copying machines of A3 and A4 formats.

Rooms of Administration, Departments of Education, Personnel, accounting office, Heads of Departments are provided with up-to-date PCs which are connected in a local net.

Training workshops are the structural division of the College. They are furnished with metalwork, machine, welding platforms with necessary equipment for instructional training. On the basis of these workshops some furniture for the College studies is produced, blacksmith practice is popular.

General education is held in specialized rooms of Ukrainian Language and Literature, World Literature, English (4 rooms), World History, History of Ukraine, Biology and Geography, Physics, Maths, Chemistry and Laboratory Physics, Chemistry. They are profoundly equipped with devices and visual models in accordance with the demands of the State Standard for complete general secondary education.

The equipment of rooms and laboratories for training of all specialties makes up 100%.

Instructional training is held in the workshops, practical and pre-diploma training are held on the basis of Sumy enterprises: Joint-Stock Companies “Sumy Machine-Building Scientific-Production Union” called after Frunze, "Pumping and Power-Engineering Plant", ”SELMI”, "Zentrolit".

Material and technical basis of the University is used for graduated training of bachelors. Students of the College use library stock. Studies in Chemistry, Resistance of Materials, Processing of Materials and Hydraulics are held in the University laboratories.
