Peopleware of the teaching and educational process

For 01.01.2002:
- 51 persons - teachers of the college,
- 35 persons – pedagogical and teaching staff of the SSU, 11 persons from among them have a rank of doctor and candidate of sciences,
- 4 persons – are adjuncts.
According to the results of attestation of pedagogical collaborators there work in the college:
- candidate of Technical Sciences - 1 (2%)
- teachers of the highest category - 19 (37%)
- teachers of the first category - 8 (16%)
- teachers of the second category - 9 (17,6%)
- teachers-specialists - 14 (27,4%)
All the teachers of special subjects have corresponding technical education.
A plan of raising the level of skills of teachers works in the college.
The raising the level of skills is carried out:
- at the faculty of raising the level of skills of the Sumy State University in the following directions:
- fundamentals of educational management;
- computer technologies of education;
- educational work at the educational institution;
- history of the world culture;
- the Ukrainian;
- probation period of teachers if the college at the university chairs (mathematics, physics, chemistry, resistance of materials, theoretical mechanics, philosophy);
- probation period of teachers at the city enterprises;
- raising the level of skills in the regional institution of after-diploma training (teachers of the humanitarian cycle, physical training, fundamentals of information science).
Since December, 28 2000 Machine-Building College is the basic among higher educational institutions of ²-²² levels of accreditation.
That is why the majority of the regional methodical associations of teachers of the higher educational institutions of ²-²² levels of accreditation are headed by teachers of the Machine-Building College of the SSU.
