Humanitarians, Congratulations!

The 1st of April is called to be All Fools ’ Day as laugh, joy, good mood and jokes are following you all day long and you believe everything despite you know it’s a joke!

So, according to the old tradition SSU had KVN faculty games on April, 1-2. This year among the teams were “Stripe Virus” (Mechanical-Mathematical Faculty), “Tolerance Zone” (Engineering Faculty), “Brass Band” (Humanitarian Faculty), “220 Normal” (Physical-Technical Faculty), “Half” (Economical Faculty), “45^thSize” (Medical Institute) and KVN SSU Studio team “Bones from Future” .

The rules for the KVN faculty games 2008 were changed: on the 1^st contest day the teams presented a “visiting card” and “training” and on the 2^nd day they presented their “homework”. The fair and smart jury this year included:

• K. Pavlenko - the head of “Arlekin” SSU theater studio, an author and an actor of SSU KVN team “The 5^th Element”;
• O. Priymenko -an author and an actor of SSU KVN team “The 5^th Element”; an author of SSU KVN team “Tike-Tiho”;
• O.Zubchenko - an author and an actor of SSU KVN team “The 5^th Element”;
• Z.Yeremenko - an author and an actor of SSU KVN team “The 5^th Element”;
• V.Kryvopishin (Uncle Vova) – the main KVN player of Sumy, the head of the 1^st day jury;
• R.Soloha - an author and an actor of SSU KVN team “Tike-Toho”; the head of the 2^nd day jury.

All the players showed a great game! Maybe someone was better, some had something to work at but, in general, it looked quite nice! Of course, there’ll always be “Kill the jury”, but let’s remember that the jury consists o professionals that has a hard mission – to define the strongest. KVN isn’t a sport contest in jumping. If we smile and laugh at the jokes of our faculties, it does not mean they are the best and it doesn’t mean we should get offended when the jury puts lower marks. They should point out not only the jokes, but acting and playing!

Almost a point (0.8 if being concrete) separated the team of Humanitarian Faculty from the others, including the players from KVN SSU Studio team “Bones from Future”. They started their work in October and reached very good results. Preparations of our Medical institute gave a lot of fun to everyone as well.

Perfect April mood was guaranteed everyone visiting the contest. “SSU has more fun than Yumoryna,” – the Vice-Rector N.D. Svitaylo said. And that’s great that our students can do it! Humanitarians, congratulations! Hold on!
