Another “Students’ Spring” Is Over…
 Traditionally, in spring SSU makes the conclusion of the work of artistic teams and clubs of our town – so, has a holiday called “Students’ spring”! According to the rules all the clubs are separated into 2 groups. First, colleges contest and only then the universities do. Prizes and diplomas are given in nominations.
 This year SSU contested in the following nominations: artistic reading, vocals, sport dancing and folk dancing. Our rivals were: Sumy National Agricultural Universities, Sumy Department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Sumy Department of Academy of Statistic,s, Sumy Humanitarian Institute of “Ukraine” University, Ukrainian Academy of Banking , Sumy State Pedagogical University of A.S.Makarenko. Among the participants of the first part were Machine-Building College of Sumy State University, Sumy Building College, Medical College, College of Sumy National Agricultural Universities, Sumy College of Food Industry and Sumy Cooperative College.
According to the results of the contest Olena Vashchenko from Physical-Technical Faculty got the 3d prize in the nomination “Artistic Readings”. The leaders of the dance club Svitlana Koroleva and Yevgen Aver’yanov got the 2nd prize with their hot latino. Viktoria Verbenko got the 2nd too in “Vocals” with "Amore" compositions. But “Gypsy dance” of our folk dancing club brought us the 1st prize in the nomination.
Having become not a participant but a spectator I understood that all the students are one big friendly family no matter where they study.
Students’ spring 2008 is over. New frontiers are close!
