Engineers Were the Strongest…

On April, 22 in terms of SSU sport competitions the contest in fitness-aerobics took place. This year it was Cheerleading approach. All the faculties participated: Faculty of Economy and Management, Engineering Faculty, Humanitarian Faculty, Mechanical-Mathematical Faculty, Physical-Technical Faculty, Medical Institute.

The competitions were held in two stages. With the help of drawing the consequence of the performance of the participants were defined. In general only 3 strongest teams could get to the final contest, but the jury let 4 teams to the final. They were the teams of Faculty of Economy and Management, Engineering Faculty, Humanitarian Faculty and Mechanical-Mathematical Faculty. On the 2^nd stage teams performed their shows and the jury named the winner – the team of Engineering Faculty. Guys, well done! Humanitarian Faculty was the 2^nd and Faculty of Economy and Management – the 3d.

I can help mentioning that it became a tradition to see two students of Mechanical-Mathematical Faculty among the participants – Yevgen Aver’yanov and Artem Kashin. We want to see the number of male participants growing!

The jury:

• G.E.Petrova - Master of Sports in calisthenics;
• N.L.Bezryadina – a Candidate to Master of Sports in sport gymnastics, fitness-instructor, Cheerleading trainer;
• Iryna Sherstyuk - a Candidate to Master of Sports in sport gymnastics and calisthenics.

The debutants demonstrated their performances. They were pupils of the regional center of out-of-school education and work with talented youth and children of 8-13 years. It’s our pride and next sport team!
