Modern Problems of Neuroinfections

It became a tradition to organize conferences of infectiologists of Sumy region that are devoted to the most actual problems of the study of infections. So, on November, 5 2008 the scientific-practical conference and the plenum of Sumy Association of infectiologists called “Modern Problems of Neuroinfections” and devoted to Z.Krasovyts’ky took place at SSU assembly hall.

The conference was organized by SSU chair of infection diseases and Regional Infection Clinic of Z.Krasovyts’ky.

More than 160 doctors of different specialties took part in the work of the conference (therapeutists, pediatricians, infectiologists, anaesthesiologists, psychiatrists, gynaecologists, family doctors, neuropathologists, and neurosurgeons), teachers of infection diseases of Sumy medical educational establishments.

The theses of the conference were printed and given to participants with the certificate.

Participants and administration decided to fix such conferences as a part of the plan of medical preventive measures in the region. They planned 2 conferences for 2009: in June “Acute enteric infections: clinics, diagnosis, and treatment” and in November “Chemo- and immunotherapy of infections”.
