Sumy State University became an informational partner of the Strengthening Civic Impact in the Implementation of European Union Requirements concerning the Trade Technical Regulation Project, funded by the European Union and International Renaissance foundation in terms of Civic Synergy Project.

The project is aimed to increase the awareness of Ukrainian small and medium business representatives, civic activists concerning the rules and requirements of the immersed and large-scale free trade zone, products safety demands, and ISO management system standards (MSS) in terms of free trade expansion.

In autumn 2017, it is planned to hold 5 educational and practical events in 5 Ukrainian regions (Chernihiv, Poltava, Lviv, Lutsk and Sumy) for entrepreneurs, NGOs representatives, and local authorities as well as to conduct the on-line consultations of experts concerning the various aspects of technical regulations of the immersed and large-scale free trade zone (including the products safety demands) at the same period.

The research of the awareness and the demand level regarding the above mentioned questions is planned to be held in Sumy region in terms of the project. Also, it is planned to perform analytical research regarding the implementation level of technical regulation in Ukraine within 3 spheres: agriculture, food industry and tourism.

Informational and educational materials regarding the ensuring products, control systems, certification, and market research compliance with the requirements of the immersed and large-scale free trade zone will be provided according to the research results.
